ABOUT US

SOCI Petroleum, Inc. was formed in 2002 as a spin off of Santmyer Oil Company's wholesale division. The company contained 15 transports and 25 employees, operating primarily in Northeast Ohio. SOCI was formed to offer freight delivery services to Santmyer Oil Co., distributors, refiners, convenient store operators and various commercial accounts.

Today, SOCI Petroleum, Inc. is comprised of approximately 100 transports with 150 employees. The company transported 462 million gallons of product in 2005. SOCI Petroleum has terminal locations in Wooster, Dalton, Dayton, Columbus, Newark, Mt. Vernon, Cincinnati, New Philadelphia, Canton, Tallmadge, Richfield, Lima, Toledo and Youngstown.

The company's geographic diversification allows it to cover the state of Ohio, western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, Kentucky, eastern Indiana, and southern Michigan.
